Honda 420 reverse wiring issue

Evening

has anyone one ever had a Honda 420 with the reverse light stuck on . As soon as reverse gear is engaged the engine cuts out and starts as soon as neutral is engaged. There has been mice in at wiring loom at battery but repaired all those damaged wires . Anyone had this problem before thanks

i have had experience with mice. they can screw up your wiring, an then some. cant say i like them much.. get the service manual offered here, at this site, doublecheck you wiring, use dielectric grease, at all connectors, even grounds... you didnt state the year of your model, else, i didnt see it. its helps also..
