Hey fellas I bought this bike that was caught in the flood but the whole rear was missing like someone used it as a parts bike. I put assembled the whole rear section from parts I had laying around. No parts are missing and it's assembled correctly.
The rear diff was full of mud so I took it apart and cleaned it. The bearings didn't seem loose so I used it and a brake panel that I did replace the bearing in.
After putting it all together I have a roaring noise but can't pin point it. It's not coming from the engine.

Pinion bearing tight?

If it were me I'd put all new bearings in the diff.....

the video wouldn't start for me , my first thought is improperly shimmed ring gear = which shims did you use from " parts laying around "

Fish the shims were there I guess the bearings were damaged from the mud I'll fix that one later. I cleaned up a different diff on it and it's good to go now. Thx y'all!
