Hi! I just bought a new to me 2009 Honda TRX420FA AT, I'm quite pleased with my purchase. The only thing that bothers me is the front end, I can't say I'm a fan of the 2009s' front end body style. But I can say I'm in love with the newer body style that came out in 2014, it has more of a beefiness to it in my opinion. Which brings to the question, Are the front Bumpers of the 2 styles interchangeable? I've noticed the side fenders changed slightly to a more sharper look, but the front fender seems to be the same in both styles from what I can tell...Anyone might have any suggestions or input? I'd be very grateful!

I don't know for sure but I'm inclined to say no as the newer Rancher uses the foreman frame.

Suppose you could modify one to fit if your mechanically minded and have necessary equipment.

Thanks for the reply and your input! I kinda had figured that they wouldn't be compatible but just had to make sure with atv community first before i ruled out the possibility...I think I might try it anyways tho...I'd like to think myself fairly handy and definitely have the necessary tools for the job

You could add a brushguard.

The newer Ranchers are on the same frame as a Foreman. The 07-13 where smaller, more nimble. I don't see the point in buying a smaller CC machine on a full sized frame if a smaller frame is available.

Ya..I guess you do have a point their, I wish I had just bought a 2014 instead. I just couldn't find any reasonably cheap enough that I could afford with my high school job. Thanks for your response tho, saved me about $500
