I’ve recently bought myself a brand new Honda 420 FA6 but I was wondering what is there top speed? as I can only get it to do 65kmh which seems slow to me as I had a 250 Honda before and it done 76kmh

Ranchers and ALL honda 4x4 atv's are NOT very fast, I THINK, a GUESS based on my MEMORY, of other treads on this
I think they claim its top speed will be about 55 MPH and that's asking a LOT of it!
if you do a search there should be some treads with others and there top speeds
if you wanted a FAST atv, HONDA was the wrong ATV to buy!, Sorry, but is what it is !

My 2017 manual shift shuts off at 52mph. And from the sounds of the rpm's at that speed, I don't blame it. :big-grin

I think I’ve hit about 56 racing 2 other slow utility quads across a big parking lot. Mine is an ‘09 with 25” big horns.

If I was looking for a fast quad I wouldn’t be buying a farm quad but I was just wondering is that there top speed as 40mph seems slow for a 420 as I had a 250 before and it done 47mph
Is there limiters on a new 420 FA6? If so can they be removed

The FA is slower than the FM models. And yes, the max RPMs are limited by the CDI and cannot be altered.
