Good morning all,
I recently purchased a second hand 420 and the battery wasn't charging. I took apart some of the connectors (apologies i'm not a wiz kid when it comes to mechanics) around the battery and sprayed them with wd40 as they were filthy and then re-connected. This solved the battery issue and it is now charging.
The quad has been running perfectly for about a month. I purchased some heated grips and accidentally forgot to turn them off one night and this completely drained the battery. I charged her up, however, although the battery is still charging itself, after 3 or 4 uses it is nearly completely flat again and I have to use the pull start.
Can anyone advise why this may be? According to the chap I bought the quad from, the battery was replaced shortly before me purchasing it.
I really appreciate anyone's thoughts on this or if anyone has had similar issues.
Many thanks
Chris
