Just picked these up....Literally.. Can't believe how heavy they are! The one that appears complete was supposedly running and the guy believes the wiring is shot because he lost spark. I'm in it for $250 total for the pair so hopefully if nothing else i can get my money back parting them out?

I think the tires are worth the 250 you have in them....

Unfortunately they are dry rotted and have a lot of cracks so they are worthless... Amazing they have held air the past few hours lol

I repaired a faulty fan control module this weekend by baking it in the oven at 180F for two hours. It didn’t burn or smoke or deform the module in any way, but the module worked afterward. I don’t know why it worked but ive read that the function of over half of defective CDIs can be restored by doing this.

So if you can’t get spark and think the CDI is bad, try it.

By the way these look like 1987 TRX350A model Same CDI as 86.

Easily get your money out of them and then some parting them out, but get one running and keep the other for parts. They're tanks.

I just bought another carcass. I overpaid for it but it had a plastic gas tank and an OEM carb in good shape, and both of those are pricey items.

Kicking over the complete 350 it has good compression for 2-3 kicks and then when i kick it will turn easy and you can hear it spin? What's causing this?

Won't really have time to tear into it until the weekend. I have a 300 motor i have to take downstairs and put the rest of the 300 in my shed to make room for that heavy ole thing and parts bike

Yup, no parts for them puppies, just leave them on the trailer and deliver them to fairbanks and I'll give you double what you paid. I would even unload them heavy tanks myself. lol Those are easy enough to find up here, but hard on the pocketbook.
