Your filter may be clogged, your carb may be dirty I know you swapped them out but it still could be dirty, and you may have improper valve adjustment

Did you have the top torn down? If the honda guy adjusted your valves he would have noticed the timing wasn't right. make sure your choke is all the way off bro i did that once nd it Idled great but when I rode it around it was dead on power.

If you hadn't said that you changed the carb, I would have said your accelerator pump in the carb might be bad.

I would check the cap that snaps over the spark plug. I had one of those go bad once and it done what you are describing. Might not be the problem, but it would be worth checking.

Yeah, it could be the coil.

not 100 percent on this..but..feal free to correct me..lol..if his timming was off..it wouldn't even run half right at idle..at least not many bikes i've worked on did..and when i say idle..i mean with alittle thumb on the throttle..and it wouldn't run right..sounds more like a carb or coil issue to me...may even be his pick up coil ?..alot can go wrong with electronics in these things.

i put a brand new k&n filter on it and we had a guy from a honda shop do the valves i was thinking maybe the timing
for the record K&N filters (the kind you oil yourself) can cause gunk issues in your intake. i know many many folks who over oil them and in the long run end up gunking up their system.. just a heads up bud..
