Hello

This is my first post. I have a honda 300 with a broke rearend. The big case piece is broke. Someone told me I could swap swing arm and all out of a Foreman 350. My concern is if the final drive ratios are the same between the two. Does anyone have any advice or knowledge of this. The drive ratio on my 300 is 3.90 from what i have read on the net.

you can swap them out..but.you will have to fab for the shock mounts, and the final gear ratio for the foreman from my book says it's 3.889.

Welcome to the forums. The ratios are close enough that they will work, a lot of people have done it. you can't use the 350 swingarm, but you will need the axle tubes. Like Shadetree said, you will have to fab a shock mount and you will also have to fab a piece to weld on one side of the axle tube where it bolts to the right side of the 300 swimgarm, because the 300 swingarm is narrower than the 350 swimgarm. If you want to see some pictures, try searching on the High Lifter forums. A lot of guys over there have done the conversion and there's pictures floating around over there.
