So I spun the gears of my pinion a couple months back finally got around to ordering parts and getting it fixed I went with this brand named octopus for a full finall drive rebuild kit new pinion ring gear and seals and bearings well I even went ahead and ordered a new dog case just for giggles and I had it all installed went to ride rode around for about 20 mins and it blew again any idea of maybe I just got a bad kit don’t wanna get a replacement kit and same thing happen again $170 kit could get expensive real quick if this is gonna keep beating a problem heard rumors of people doing Kawasaki bayou 220 rear end swaps on these 300s any ideas would love to have some extra advice

Well, I would contact the company, maybe they can do something for you. And I did the same thing a wile back, had to get a new case, new gears and bearing and seal kit. it was an octopus brand kit. I've had no trouble, except the fluid keeps turning black, and there is really really small flakes of aluminum in the oil, I've had no noise with it tho.

Final drive. That’s the front one?
Rear i heard many people replace w 86-89 TRX350 rear ends.
I have not rebuilt mine.
What tires size you running?
What gear oil 80W140 Hypoid like BelRay?
@fishfiles knows those drive boxes pretty well; @shadetree too.
i use OEM only.

count the teeth on each the front and back both gears. Make sure your tires are the same size that will make a headache also keep them at the same air pressure. If you cannot find the fix there then you need to make sure you have the correct shimming for the gears as they will go to shit fast if they are set wrong and that is what I am expecting here.
