I would say either adjust the cable or try lubing it first. Check for any kinks where the cable has been bent.

That probably wouldn't hurt, those things need to be replaced every now and then.

my 300ex did that and we just ajusted the cable and use can greas and sprade the heck out of the cluch leave and where the cluch cable me and we fix it that why so try that and tell me wat happens

Lever's wear but unless your bars ate some dirt I would just concentrate on the cable more than likely you got a dry spot in the sheathing somewhere and moisture got in and rusted the cable. either replace it or spray some PB Blaster in it and keep working it until it frees up. goodluck

my cluch is adjusted all the way out thas how worn out mine is and we just dont have the money to fix it ny dads lad off and moms haveing to work over to make the money we need so i run it how it set
