[honda_250]

hello, I am new to the forum, do u guys know if I can cross a 85 honda 250 solenoid with a automotive solenoid. I may have a bigger electrical problem... because I cant bypass the solenoid to turn the starter over.... but it doesnt appear to be getting power to the two small connections on the solenoid.... is it possible I have a bad starter switch or is replacement of the the solenoid going to fix my problem?
