I have a 2001 250ex and im torn on what to get for rear tires. Should I go with the 4 ply Holeshot general purpose tire or the Maxxis Razr's. I ride the trails and roads so I dont want a tire that will wear down quickly.

I run the ITP Quad Cross Pros and have run the MXR6's have run Hole Shots and i love the ITP tires but for trail and road go with the Razr's they will last a lot longer.

maxxisr junk tires..i had some 18x10x9 on my 300ex and they didnt last to long the next tires i bought wer the itp holeshots they have about 95% thread left on them and i road on the road alot and barely worn them down and bite very good in the dirt so i would go with holeshots

I have read good and bad articles on both name brand tires. It just comes down to what you like. Both have great ratings.

In my experience, the Maxxis Razr's out performs the Holeshot in every type of riding. Just look at what tires are used the most in the GNCC and Desert racing, Maxxis

I will be buying the Maxxis Razors or the razor2 I have ITP holeshots now a great tire but wayyyyyy to much side bite!

Get the Razr2's. Way better IMO.
