Hey guys, next summer im getting a new pipe for my 400ex. Just wondering which one is better, HMF or FMF? Both are pretty good but which provides more power? better sound?

I don't know which Has proven to have more power but I really like the way the HMF full system sound on just about everything I have heard them on.

FMF is the original innovator. HMF is pretty damn loud, they both put out comparable gains.

bah im not gonna worry bout it when im just welding a pipe off of it over my back racks for an exhaust snorkle so not gonan spend 300 bucks to only weld on it lol.

One of my buddies has a Cobra exuast. Pssh. he may as well of kept the stock pipe on there.

heck no i got an old DG system it is obnoxtiously loud!! cobra is too. I have FMF power core 4 it sounds good. my buddy has a yosamira slip and it sounds really good on his 400ex

Agree^^^^^ I would look at a few different like LRD, Curtis Sparks, Yosh, Etc because there are some nice Exhausts out there that are not that much more $$$

If you are looking at HMF, look into their 2010 Series. Suppose to be the best they have in the sport series.

After hearing both and seeing both, I think I'm going with the HMF Utility series. But I have a 500 Foreman! They say you get 15-20% horsepower gain?

i have a 500 also. i dont really care for the utility pipes.
