I was lookin into buyin a muffler and I was lookin on the HMF site and saw that they sell jets as well. I was wondering if anyone has used these or knows if they are good jets or should i go with a different brand? Thanks!

Probably save the $ and buy them from a honda dealer. You will need a 42 pilot jet and 156-190 main. Not all of them just a couple but w/out knowing what your buying and your elevation, not sure on what main you will need.

HMF does not sell their own brand of jets. If you look up different models on their site, the jets they offer are in compliance with the brand of Carb that is on your machine.

If you look up the Jet kit for a 99-10 400ex, you receive Keihin hex jets. The Brute Force 05-10 you get Keihin round jets. The Yamaha Bruin, you get Mikuni small round jets.

Their kits are machine specific

I looked up my elevation and where I live and ride most of the time is pretty much at sea level (around 4 to 6 feet above) I would def like to get a full system. If I do go that route would I absolutly need a better intake system or will the stock work fine? ... Also Im not sure how much it makes a difference but I go through alot of mud and water (I know its a sport quad but this is South Florida haha so i would just be worried about leaving the lid off the filter)
Thanks guys!:icon_gd:
