Hi folks,

Joining you from southeast New Brunswick - picked up a neat toy this week (with papers, for 1200!). I was looking for a 4 wheeler to putt around my property and someone tipped me off on this old beauty. It's older than me actually - 1986 Honda TRX350. It's not quite in mint shape, but its only really missing the headlight and a little wash. I hooked it up to the trailer today to take out the trash. Awesome machine. I don't want to completely restore it, but I'd like to keep it running for a while - its already 31 years old.

edit -- yeah that's an old 7.3 IDI next to the barn hehe

Cheers. J

Feels solid yeah! Looks like the biggest thing I should be concerned with is carrying a spare fuel pump as far as for not having to walk home!!

The biggest tip any of us can offer you is NOT to buy Chinese or no name products for your 350. Always buy OEM or known brand parts, especially important things such as fuel pumps, carb kits, bearings etc.. They cost a little more but they last twice as long.

We've heard of people fitting brand new Chinese $40 carbs and they don't work from new. Have a browse through the forum, you'll see what I mean.

Welcome to the forums, seems you've bought a nice example of a 350 there, good job :)

I am from northern NB. Campbellton actually, but the lack of decent livelihoods up there pushed us away. Nothing like the wilderness up there, though. I spent much time at the club at Island Lake =)
