my honda 1986 will run for 30 to 40 minutes an shut down i tried swapping every thing cdi coil regulater spark plug and it still cuts off after it warm up

Welcome to the forums. if your valves are adjusted too tight you could have that issue or your float in the carb is sticking.

After it shuts off, have you checked to see if it's firing at the plug?
