Hello, I just recently bought a 2005 TRX450R. It's all stock besides being piped and jetted from what the previous owner told me. There is one question that I do have though. I was checking my oil when I first got the quad using the sight glass and it was half full, well after riding it and bringing it back home I checked it again and it barely had anything showing up in the sight glass, so I filled it back up but it seems to appear empty everytime I'm done riding? Just wondering if anybody has any information for me, thanks.

does it smoke? rings might be bad or u got a leak some where

Welcome to the forums! start it up let run a couple minutes and shut it off let the oil settle and check site glass, mine does the same if it sits a few days it will look low until run a couple minutes but check before you ride and change it every other time you ride.

No it doesn't smoke and I don't see any oil sitting on the garage floor ever or on the motor, ect. but thanks for the info, I'm sure I will figure it sooner than later
