I need the solenoid diagram for a 1988 fourtrax 300. I removed it and crossed the wires, the starter kept running evry time I hooked up the battery. I bought a new solenoid and hooked up the starter wire to the solenoid. The starter cable I hooked-up to the green/red side of the solenoid, then the battery to the yellow/red side of the solenoid. If this is wrong please let me know because it will not start at all know. The only way I can start it is by arcing the solenoid with a screwdriver.
