I just recently rebuilt the engine in my 2003 Honda rancher, with new rings, piston, clips, and insert, the day before I started I was at mud Creek for memorial day and noticed that every now and then it would leque but I payed it no attention, but when I finished everything in the engine and put it back together, the carburetor was pouring gas out the drain hole, and when I plugged it, the gas would come out of the intake. Anyway I cranked it up and it sounded as if it was idling at full throttle, fortunately the gas stopped pouring out but I had no idea what had happened so I killed it, took the fuel dump hose off and walked away. I did not take the valves or anything out when I took it appart, could the valves be the issue?

Got her up and going! Absolutely no smoke and no leaks! Has alita more power than before, I think the old piston and rings had just about had it lol I thank y'all guys so much for y'all's help and hope to be back in the future. I got my snorkel and my tractor exhaust put on and it sounds great, I just happened to find an old skid plate from another rancher I had in the past and threw it on there as well so now I'm ready to hit the ruts!
