I have located the vin # but someone put a wench on it and drilled through the middle. So I'm missing 3 digits in three middle. I bought it thinking it had papers turns out they were not the correct papers for that ATV. So in order to register it I have to take the vin number to the RCMP to have them confirm if not stolen. But I don't know what to do about the missing digits. Anyone have any suggestions?

i'd say your up chit creek, leaky boat, no paddle bro !. those 3 missing digits in the middle are where the main digits are ?, they tell you the year for sure. without the whole vin number ?, well..your out of luck !. is it stolen ?, who knows ?, but without a complete vin number ?..there is no way in heck your gonna prove otherwise I am afraid to say.
