I have an 07 Rancher 420 2x4 and would like help upgrading the stock tires, I plan on keeping the stock wheels to keep the cost down. will mostly be trail riding with lots of mud. I was thinking on 26'' on front and 27'' on rear. I hate whem the back looks lower then the front.

on my sons 09 Recon I was thinking 24'' on front tires and 25'' on rear, also plan on putting less agressive tires on front and good mud tires in the rear since they are both since they are bith 2wd.

any suggestions would be a great help.

thanx

I do not know the stick sizes of the tires on the quads but I would not go more than a size bigger because you risk rubbing frame, fendersm etc and it also puts more stress on your drive train. It also robs power from the motor.

Rancher stock Tires

Front 24x8x12
Rear 24x10x11

Recon

Front 22x7x11
Rear 22x10x9

I see guys with much tires, I just want more ground clearance and better performance in the mud.
I was also thinking of getting wheels and tires for my rancher and putting the stock ones on the recon, any thoughts??
