I have a '04 trx20ex and it needs new tires.
Stock sizes (in the manual) are 22-7-10 Front and 22-10-9.
Would there be any problems by going with a smaller tire?
Like a 21 instead of 22?
Also, would in be worth it to go with 6 ply or just stick with 4?
I'll be doing mostly light trails for riding.
Thanks guys.

You would just lose a little ground clearance, other than that, I can't really think of any problems.

I like 6 ply better, because they seem to wear better and have less flats.

I agree that 6 ply would be better if you ride trails that have a lot of sharp sticks and such. They are a lot more puncture resistant.

Yes go with 6 ply you can put 20"x6"x 10" on the front and 20"x10"x9" on the back if you have stock wheels you will like them but will loose an 1" of ground clearance
