Helmut,,,probably a dumb ?? but,,when at TDC on comp.stroke int.& ex. valves should be clear to adjust--correct??

Thanx fella's,,did mech. work on autos for 14 yrs..but, haven't done nothing but change oil and set bhind desk for the last 11 yrs.
