Hi i have a 1988 honda 300 4×4 that wont stay running after a hour of riding i feel like it might be over heating or the carb needs be adjusted but dont know where the idle screw is or air if anyone has a diagram of the carb and how many turns the screws are would be very helpful

have you checked to see if your getting vapor
next time it gets hot and shuts down on you open the fuel cap and listen for air rushing out on you and see if it runs when the cap is off!
as adjusting the idle after hot, will screw with how it runs cold
you have a different issue than idle here!
