replace it with a new one, or a used one, either way..this fixes it right !.

Is there any way to possibly patch the problem maybe?...i have already sunk around a grand in getting everything new for rear end and the Dern thing to crank..now this
you could try jb weld ?, but I would not, I would replace it, problem solved.

On a dirt bike I once had , I didn't realize it and let the chain run loose , the chain damaged the case and caused a leak , there was a part made for the bike called a case protector , I put JBWeld over the spot and then the case protector

While Changing front sprocket on 300EX I've somehow managed to crack case below sprocket..a small dime size hole...WHAT CAN I DO!!
Able to post a pic of it?

Somebody that is good with a TIG welder should be able to make a permanent repair. Where is the dime sized piece of broken metal?
