Hi all. I have a 2006 rubicon ES, for some reason it will not shift, it’s blinking an error code for incorrect angle sensor voltage, however I have replaced the angle sensor and shift motor. Any help/suggestions?

reset ECU by unplugging the ground from the battery for a couple of min and try again.

you can also check the error codes and see what they mean

you may have to adjust your shifting cable or links.

also, machine will not shift if idle is too high.

Have tried resetting ecu a couple times, the only error code it’s throwing is angle sensor voltage. Machine will shift into high low reverse and neutral but will not allow me to shift out of 1st gear in H/L. Could it be something as simple as a pinched wire throwing the voltage off?

yes or its stuck in limp mode. Search on this forum about limp mode, it can get messy.

that error needs to be cleared, have you installed the angle sensor correctly? did you wind it before installation? do you have the service manual?
