Just bought this from a teenager and he said he took the side cover off to look at stator and when he put it back its stuck in reverse gear.....before i take side cover off is there some kind of gears with timing marks or pins or cables....anything that he forgot or installed back wrong...thanks guys

I think when he pulled the right cover off , the shift shaft pulled out with it and now you need to take both covers off , to get the left side lined up again

thanks brother....youtube really hasnt helped me any so i came here....im gonna pull em off this saturday and see whats up....any advice to what to look for ?
