I have a 2003 Rancher 350 that the rings just went out on. So instead of doing a ring job on it, i would much rather bore out the enging, put a bigger piston and maybe a cam on it as well. Could anyone give me some advice on what exactly i should do to it?

I would like to get it up to 400 at least, if possible, more. Any advice is welcome.

You won't be able to 400 out of it unless the cylinder is sleeved and possibly a strocker crank, and you will probably have cooling problems. bore it .30 over and put a higher compression piston, new cam and a exhaust and get a jet kit also.
