My name is Chris and have been riding 3 and 4 wheelers for about 11 years. I am a huge Honda fan and live in Western Washington where the are lots of good places to ride. I currently own an 07 400ex, 84 TRX 200 (first year made), 91 TRX 200, and 2-03 Polaris Scrambler 50's. (lesson learned- don't buy polaris- go with honda)

I've previously owned an 01 TRX 250ex, 03 Polaris Trailboss 330, atc 70, atc 110, and klt 160 3 wheeler, XR80 and PW50.

Welcome to the forums. The '84 TRX200 was the first 4-wheeler I ever owned. I remember it had 10 gears, 5 in low and 5 in high, plus reverse.
I haven't seen one of those in years.

Welcome, 10 gears?!?!??! I forget what gear I am in with 5
Yeah, they had a shifter knob or lever down on the left side of the engine, besides the foot shifter. It had low, high, and reverse. You had 5 gears in low and 5 gears in high.

The 1984 ATC 110 we have here has High-lock and low-lock pretty cool actually. 1st gear Low and that trike would climb a house ...LOL

Yah the 10 speed sounds fancy, but still only maxes out around 40mph in Hi, and takes a little to get there. No worries though- its great for trail riding and moving my 1500 lb flat bed trailer around the yard. Being the first year made, I see it as a little piece of TRX history. The front suspension reminds me of what it must have been like driving a Model A- pretty much non functional.
