Hello to all that are seasoned people on here. I am sorta new to forums and just started up a business that includes carb and throttle body boring along with our recent investment a dyno jet atv/cart dyno. I will be putting up a vendor site soon I hope with all the info for our services. Thanks for reading.:icon_ lala:

TRX2five0 Is that your 250x in the pic? I always like the 250x's cause they always handled good and torqie. but not a lot of power but in their day it was a good machine. I really like the color scheme of the yr that is posted or the earlier yr of the red frame even better.

And thanks for all the warm welcomes. Just an FYI it seems like this is a cool site without a lot of hating going on.

We are all friends on here. There is the occassional bickering but it's all good. There is a lot of good ol' fun smack talking that goes on, but all in fun.

Welcome to the site, glad to have you.

OH Great... Now my Helmet don't fit!!!!lol JK, yeah that's my old beast, she's had a lot of work done to her, signature has some. I still have a lot more to do, I want new plastics those are cracked in the rear and the fronts are race cut not very mud friendly lol they catch none! lol I have another head i have ported that i'm getting ready to install when it warms up a bit no hurry there, I want to install a larger bore carb 400EX or something like that maybe 38 or 39 mm...Yeah my frame is red, the engine is actually off of an 87 but that's only the shell everything is new inside the engine. I actually have the other frame less the plastics. for parts.

Instead of going with a carb that is vacuum thats off a 400ex go with a FCR that came off of a 250crf dirt bike. I dont know what size they are currently going with but I know around 05 06 they used a 37mm flat side which should feed your 250x with fuel to spare not to mention they are a little easier to tune and more responsive than the vacuum type that 400's use. If you look on ebay you can usually pick them up pretty cheap. If you want bigger go with a 450crf dirtbike carb they are 40mm but I think that will be too big for your bike. I have a 450 with all bells and whistles and I am only running a 42mm.
