Good morning. New to the forum.
I don’t own an atv yet
Been racking my brain for a couple weeks on what to get and driving me nuts
Was set on sxs but changed direction to atv due to cost and size of sxs.
Moving from a gated community to a 12acre wooded property. My uses would be getting wood, plow snow, other work around house, and some trail/road riding. Would like to take 2 dogs on some short rides maybe.
Been on motorbikes for 35 years dirt then eventually street. Did ride my uncles wheeler when I was young and it was a blast. So I don’t really know atv world so I thought I’d see what you pros might suggest.
I have my eye on a new rancher that has a sale going on with IRS ES DCT. I know IRS isn’t ideal for towing but I would rather have better ride when my better half is along joy riding. A new ruby would be sweet but a little more than I want to go. There is a 05 foreman and rubicon locally for sale under 1k miles at $4.5 to 5k that prob do the trick but thinking for not a ton more could get newest tech.
Sorry rambled on a bit much. Thx for any help!

Absolutely great recommendations. For a Honda i like the big engine and foot shift. In your case i would lean to the used 05 Foreman if it was a foot shift—but price is too high. You can buy brand new for $7K.

I have three older foot shift Hondas and my wife is only a fan if them because I’m nuts about them. She loves our CVT Outlander XT 500 Max. CVT PS and IRS
