Hello from central PA

I have been out of the ATV game for a few years. Im from the PA coal region and grew up on quads every summer roaming the coal banks and old mine roads/trails. If you have heard of the AOAA park, that was my riding grounds, before it was gated off.

My first quad was a 85 Suzuki 230 quad runner shaft drive. When I was a teenager I owned a 94 Polaris 300 4x4, later was named the xplorer. I would never own another po-po again. I finally saw the light and my last quad was a 01 foreman 450 ES. I loved that quad and sold it to my uncle for his cabin when I got into building jeeps. I now have 18 acres in the farm country and want to get another Honda.

welcome to the site, from a fellow PA resident
I also grew up riding coal banks and coal lands, but I did it on a MX bike, got into 4x4 atv's just due to more yr round use and work on the farm
still like my MX bikes
but PA is drying up on places you can ride anymore
land owners have had there fill on trespassing, as have gun.hunting/sportsman clubs!
a shame, as we have so many acres of public lands with dirt roads and such, we SHOULD be allowed to use IMO
after all we are required to have a registration, a lic plate, and insurance< WHY can we NOT use the public lands??
just crazy BS IMO!
