I will post some when I get it back together. It’s pretty. Blue rear end and tank, which have faded green paint on them, and a green front end. I will say it runs great, doesn’t smoke, and came with a drop rack on the back. I’m in the process of replacing the rear axle, stripped 1-1/2” splines, and putting green rear plastics on it.

Here are some pictures of my $500 barn find. I just replaced the fender on the ground with a green to match the front. So now it’s a $600 barn find. Haha

I work in Helena AR right across the river from Lula. Dad's family is from Hernando originally. He still has his grandparent's old dairy farm there where my cousin lives.

Nice looking 300, and cheap!

Get you some aircraft remover (paint stripper) from Walmart and clean up that blue rear fender. Everyone wants blue plastics these days.

Clean up those blue plastics, there are quite a few around here that might be interested in them.....

The blues were really really brittle. We had already make some braces to repair some big cracks. It was toast, or it would still be a frankenbike. Haha.

I grew up in Wynne. So I know where Helena is. We used to drive through there going to Hardin Point back before 61 was expanded to the casinos.

Ah ok. @basfnb is up that way. I live in Marianna, work in Helena. EVERYBODY (except me) had hunting camps at Hardin Point when I was growing up. Quite a few still do, but the costs are driving some of them out.

We used to go to Tunica Cutoff to ski so we could stay at the hunting camp and not have to drive home after drinking beer on the lake all day.

Those are some good people! I ran around with Allen some when I was younger. Went to the lake a lot with him and used to go to the races with them on Sundays when they had the Demon.

Still stop in and talk to him every once and awhile. Just saw and spoke with Mr James Saturday morning.

Interestingly enough, Allen and I were talking 4wheelers a few years ago and his son had the old 300 they'd had forever. Allen said his boy wanted a newer wheeler and Allen said "Nothing wrong with that 300, use it.". He said Tyler was trying his hardest to kill the 300 in the hopes that Allen would have to get something newer, and the kid couldn't kill it. LOL
