I'm new to the forum but I have ridden hondas for about 10 years now. I recently bought my first 1998 honda 300 4x4. I'm very excited to take it out on a good ride. I do have one question what are the biggest tires I can run on it being stock? Thank You and looking forward to chatting with all of you.

Welcome to the family, What size are on their now. Keep in mind that you can change tire size but the difference in between front and rear must stay the same. Meaning if your stock tires are
(just throwing numbers out) 25" in the front and 25" in the back, you have to keep your tires the same size. If your fronts are 23" and the back is 24", you must keep 1" between the sizes. Does that make sense?

welcome to the forums..what red was saying is..your atv has a transfer case..and to make up for the gear ratio difference..these atv's need to have at least 1 inch size difference from the back to the front...the back tires have to be 1 inch larger than the front for a 4x4. if you had a 2x4..it wouldn't matter to much..other than stearing..lol..hope this helps you.
