Heim Joints for TRE's

I was wondering how many people run heim joints on their tierod ends instead of a traditional TRE. These heim joints are much stronger and I can get them a lot cheaper than normal TRE.

Something similar to this.... ASR Honda TRX 250X, TRX 300EX PRO X Racing Tie Rods : eBay Motors (item 360249220532 end time May-01-10 21:57:00 PDT)

Thanks for all the opinions, as most places not many people have had experience with them. But, I am going to give them a try. My brother is into kart racing and just so happens he has several sets of them lying around the shop. I will let you guys know how it goes after the next trip out.
