I was wondering how many people run heim joints on their tierod ends instead of a traditional TRE. These heim joints are much stronger and I can get them a lot cheaper than normal TRE.

I'd say they would be really durable and strong.Alot better than stock ones.

Thanks for all the opinions, as most places not many people have had experience with them. But, I am going to give them a try. My brother is into kart racing and just so happens he has several sets of them lying around the shop. I will let you guys know how it goes after the next trip out.

I would think you would have a somewhat more responsive or smoother steering.. I don't see why they wouldn't work but make sure you use grade 8 or higher zinc plated bolts.
