Does the machine have lights now, and if so, what wattage are they? As with anything electrical, you can do anything, it just might take adding other stuff like a bigger battery, depending on the wattage of the current lights, the ones you want to add, and the output of the electrical system.
im not sure of the wattage..its a 350..ive got the two sub lights and the main one on the handlebars..they work well but i travel alot at night and would kinda like a little more light without putting alot more strain on my charging system..i think my sublights are 25 watt
I think it's safe to say you could replace the original sub lights with HIDs that draw the equivalent of 2-3 amps each. Anything more than 3 amps each and you may want to add a bigger battery and keep it charged with a battery tender.
H.I.D. operate on Ballast and actually draw less power than a conventional bulb. you can retain you original lenses you may have to retro the H.I.D. bulb into place but that not a big deal since you can get wet location bulbs. I will look tonight for a good replacement set-up for you and get back to you. I am at work so the sites are limited on this computer
