Troubleshooting starter issues and am wondering where the negative battery cable grounds to the frame or engine as I want to make sure this connection is clean and tight? Thanks for any help!

since you posted in Fourtrax , usually the ground cable goes to a bolt which holds the starter in on 300's and 250's

Usually from starter or engine to frame, them from frame to battery Neg (-)

From memory, right side of frame towards rear of engine, you should spot something in that location.

on the 2000es, it seems the grounds all end up, on the right side of my frame, sitting on the seat, or near abouts.. if you have cleaned the positive connections, about the battery, an solenoid, maybe tried jumping the solenoid,.. i think battery, solenoid, or starter, starter brushes.
i have had problems with battery, an starter brushes. i didnt replace my bad brush, before it cut into the rotor. had to get a new starter.. i already had the part, just kept putting it off.. now i have a new brush, plus a new starter. so it goes
