Patin' what part of the State do you call home !

Patin' what part of the State do you call home !

Even though I grew up in the Honey Island Swamp in Louisiana, I had to look Patin Louisiana and it is absolutely a guess on my part if s/he is from that part of Louisiana. Looks like Patin in about 20 miles east of Lafayette right off of I-10.

Even though I grew up in the Honey Island Swamp in Louisiana, I had to look Patin Louisiana and it is absolutely a guess on my part if s/he is from that part of Louisiana. Looks like Patin in about 20 miles east of Lafayette right off of I-10.

Alloutdoors , Good call on Patin being a city , I was way off and thinking a personal name , now that you say that I have heard of Patin , I was thinking how the terrain looked different and that would make sense being the other side of the State

Honey Island Swamp = this weekend past my buddy who has a unbelievable camp/house on the Pearle River that you can drive to , he had all his teenage " guy " friends over for an all night sleep over , no ladies , ( kinda weird if you ask me ) , I was on the list but I didn't go as I had other wife duties to perform , I teased them all week long about it being a pajama party , but any way , they rode the swamp in boats , utv's and atv's all weekend day and night , no one got hurt bad or went to jail , they all said they had a great time and I wouldn't doubt it

Grew up in Pearl River LA and know the Pearl River extremely well. I haven't seen the swamp since Katrina and hope to get down there this Fall/Winter ....
