Hello everybody, my wife and I are returning to the world of Honda ATV/ATC's When we lived up near Erie, PA, we both had Big Red's. We sold them when we moved back to Indiana where I am from. Now that we can afford to travel to places to ride, my wife bought a 2007 yellow Recon 250. Not to be left out, and growing up with 3 wheeled ATC's, I got myself a cheap 1982 Honda Big Red 200e to restore. Her's runs excellent, has a winch mounted to the front rack and more important is shaft drive with reverse as she has a bad knee and struggled to push her old 3 wheeler backwards. I already have gone thru the carb on mine and have it running. Waiting on some cables to replace frozen front brake and choke cables. Then on to replacing the rotted out muffler and replacing the seat and some plastics over time. My wife also rides a super clean 1984 Honda Magna V30 motorcycle and I have an optioned out Elite 250 maxi scooter. Pics coming soon. Mike and Michele T

I will get pics of her ATV and my ATC tomorrow after work, they are buried in the garage and its fixing to storm here. Also almost bed time for me. However, here is my 1982 Honda Elite 250 with factory stereo and factory luggage case, and her 1984 Magna V30 500cc. Mike the Aspie

Welcome aboard and know the Kokomo area fairly well, nice area. Depending on what kind of riding you want to do, Attica/Badlands isn't that far from you, about 1.5 hr and nice place near the Wabash River.

I am an hour straight north of Indy. The Badlands is also about an hour drive. We took my old jeep there years ago(wish I still had the jeep!) Still have a few things to do to my Big Red before we can go ride. Her's is ready other than finishing up some rewiring on the winch control. Mike the Aspie

Here are some pictures of our two Honda ATV's Her Recon is ready to go other than registration and such, neither have titles yet, but will once I go thru the hoops at the BMV. Yes I have bill of sales on both of them. My old Big Red is a work in progress, choke is fixed, muffler has its holes welded shut thanks to my neighbor who can weld better than I. Still need a shock for the front fork and a complete seat. The seat pan is all busted up, so I cannot just have it recovered with new foam. But she does run, rode it around our court a couple times today to test out the repaired exhaust. Mike the Aspie

She does, nearly everyday thru the spring/summer and fall. V30 version, 500cc V4. In very pristine condition. That is her other baby besides the yellow Recon. All of our motorsport rides are Hondas

trust me, i know that v30 inside and out..lol. i only wish they put shaft drive on all that power like they did with the v45, v42, and v65. yes..there is a difference between v45 and v42, v45 is the 750cc, and v42 was considered 700cc. most folks don't know this.

What brand and where did you get your bags? Hers are a hand me down pair and the have messed up the rear turn signal pods and such. Some of the problem is she lacks the wire supports to go behind the bags to help keep them out of the tire and suspension.

i got them off ebay, bout 40 bucks or less back then. i made my own bag supports out of alum diamond plate from lowes. Honda did not make or sell support bars for saddle bags for the magna's !. i'll see if i can locate the pics of them when i installed them.
