Looking at purchasing the below wheeler was a used private dealer. Looks to be a good deal but when I check this out in person are there areas I should focus on to make sure their are no issues with the machine?

Looks like a clean bike, I would check oil/diff fluid/air filter etc. Look up under the plastics where it would be hard to clean to see if mud is caked underneath. Those aren't mud tires they are a trail tire at best so probably hasn't been deep mudded.

best thing is to look in the airbox...


see how that looks...

If its to clean... Or clean enough... or dirty...


If its to clean... Like freshly done clean, i'd be skeptical..

The sellers attitude towards you having a good, hard look around it will tell you a lot about the ATV. If he gets somewhat ‘emotional’ about you wanting to check fluids, airbox etc then take caution. Most, including myself, would be more than happy for you to ride, inspect, shake, rock & wiggle!

If your unsure, take a friend with you who has a good understanding with ATV’s.
