'09 foreman es,,got in water today,,only the front dipped up to headlights..muffler never went under,,didn't take water in pipe. it stalled,,i didn't try to crank until,drained a little water out of airbox,,pulled plug,,no water on top,,no water in oil,,cranks up, will on idle w/choke on and exhaust by head starting to glow??!?!?!?

Change your spark plug then, it sounds like u may have cracked it. Causing unburned fuel to go into the pipe as it runs the next time the engine fires it ignites the gas. I hope thats not it because otherwise it maybe valvetrain issues.

I've seen that happen on fuel injected automobiles. The exhaust and catalytic converter fills up with gas and then it ignites in the catalytic converter. I seen that happen to one, once, and the floorboard got so hot that the carpet inside caught on fire.

Sounds lean but if it's fuel injected that can't be it.

Oh well then maybe it is lean.Could have a float sticking.

I've also seen the exhaust on a dodge Shadow glow bright red If I remember right it was the coil failing (been a long time since I had that car) but it scared the crap out of me... I thought it was going up in flames.
