I have an 2004 400at rancher I just had the motor redone, its been rejetted, bored over .50, has the supertrapp IDSX exhaust, new clutch's, and clutch kit. Is there anything else i can do like a aftermarket CID box or soemthing? I just wished i would have camed it when it was apart. lol

Yes there is an aftermarket cdi and you will love the performance increase.

I agree, get a good Twin Air, UNI, or NoToil filter. Get foam not K&N style. A CDI will advance the ignition curve and give you more RPMs to play with.

if you decide to tear it back down..and put the up graded cam in it..from what i've seen on the forums..i think you will need the hardened rockers to go with the cam..sooo..check to make sure before you just order the cam

Hot cams is the only cam that doesn't require the hard faced rockers.

If you dont have an after market air filter yet, its a worth while investment. Also, if you can find a way to eliminate the stock filter cage/ back fire screen that will help too, Assuming you have the typical honda cage with small holes. Some aftermarket filters come with their own cage. Be ready to re-jet though because stock filters and cages really restrict.
Can you re-route your intake duct to the air box? The original intake tract on my quad was about almost 5 feet long. Hard to believe the motor even ran but it did. I was able to shorten it up to about 1.5 feet long by making a snorkel up to my handle bars and in doing so Gained a little power.
Besides possible hard facing of rockers you may also need to replace valve springs, seats, and valves themselves otherwise they will not hold up. I also heard that hot cam has a cam that works with stock motors.
