if i logged in, in the am and read posts that came up, night time when i log back on, i have a hard time trying to find that post. when i log on, sometimes it will only go back as far as 2 pm, how can i go back to the 8 or 9 o'clock am. posts for that same day? i guess i am trying to ask , if there is a scroll button to scroll back in time in the order of the same day?

first..go to where you posted..say..the brakes area..then..click on that..after the page loads..scroll down the list...if you don't see where you posted..or repsonded to a post..look for the box that has different page numbers..most times it will be back a page..spec if alot of ppl are posting to that area...hope this helps.

You may have the default thread age cut off set for one day only. Go to the top of the page and click on "My Account". Now click on "edit options" on the left of the page. Scroll down toward the bottom of the page until you see "Default Thread Age Cut Off". Change it to "Use Forum Default" and see if that helps.

Also, along with setting your display filter settings like Helmut said, it's easier if you just use the active topics page. That way you just see the stuff that is getting posting in, no matter which forum it is.

On the top right under you screen name there is a tab you can select that says "Quick Links" Click on that and a menu will drop down. Select "Todays Post"
