try this : with key off, and there is a working kick start or pull start ?, while kicking it over or pull starting it, ( I don't know which way your atv is made ? ), sooooooo..lets go with kick starting !. while kicking it over while in gear, it will lurch forward a little, as it does, quickly put the brakes on, now try down shifting. oh, and you did not have to start a new thread on this topic, please continue to use your first thread on this, thanks !
