I removed my carb from my TRX 90. The gasket between the carb and the intake manifold is stuck on my carb and the intake valve. Is there something I can do to remove it without scratching the aluminum? Is there a solvent I can use?

Please help. I know you guys will. You always do.

You can go to any auto parts store and buy a gasket remover in a spray can. I can't remember the name of it. Make sure you don't let any get on any rubber parts. It will eat them up, quick. Just spray it on and let it soak for a few minutes and then it will scrape off, easy.

It won't really hurt the aluminum if it is real light scratches, but you don't won't any gouges. I usually use a razor blade from one of those box knifes to scrape with. Just take your time.
