I changed the battery in my 2001 450 es and my gage cluster went wacky.....And it wont read gear selection ....It shifts through gears perfectly.....I don't think I have that many miles or hours....Any ideas . :smile

your display is bad, get water in it ?, you can drop a new one in, and your miles and hours will be zero..lol.

All I did was change the 17 year old battery.....And I don't care about the miles....I just like to know what gear I'm in....I don't trail ride this machine anymore....It plows the drive and hauls 7 cord of firewood each year .:wacko:

I had a similar problem on my 06 Rancher, but my gage never turned on with the ignition.

Contact Scott at Bluegauges.com he was able to fix mine for a fair price.
