Hi Everyone:

I have an issue with my TRX 300 it will only idle correctly if the RES-Reserve option is selected on the fuel valve on the gas tank..if I switch to the ON option..it will idle ok for about 30 seconds or so then starts to rev high...It runs great on the RES option..operates normally..I never had the fuel valve apart..I'm assuming it's time for a new valve or is there a way to repair it? I checked my manual..not much info..it just states that the RES only holds 0.7 gallon of gasoline and also shows the parts...Thanks

Yeah i would clean or change the valve...I would check your fuel lines are not kinked or clogged...good luck

YOu should be able to unscrew a small cap on the bottom of the fuel shutoff valve. I would remove that and then turn it on and blow air up through it to make sure your "ON" isn't clogged the do the same for the "RES"
