I have found fuel leaking out of the tube that is connected to the bottom of the float bowl on my 400. There is a check valve in the tube that is installed so liquid can run from the bowl, but not into the carb.. The down stream end of the tube is not connected to anything! I suspect this tube is a bowl overflow line, but don't know for sure if it should be connected somewhere. Please let me know if the downstream end should be connected to something and where it should connect.... If it does not normally connect to anything... Why is there fuel running from it??

Welcome to the forums. That is the carb overflow and it isn't supposed to hook to anything. The only thing that will cause fuel to link out is if the ATV is sitting on a hill or if the float valve is stuck open. Your carb probably needs taken off and cleaned, it may have some debris under the float valve.

Have you rolled your quad? Lifted it?

I did an oil change once, lifted the front end and I forgot to turn the gas off. Next morning my entire garage floor was covered in gas. It all leaked out.
