I've seen on some 300's that people are changing the angle of their front shocks to vertical or nearly vertical. This is oviously to stiffen the front up a touch as anything other than vertical and the rate decreases.

Has anybody done this or ridden an ATV with this setup? I find the front of mine very soft and had considered standing the shocks up a little.

I know some will say, 'just buy after market shocks', but don't forget I'm across the pond, everything ATV related costs a small fortune here! Lol.

It's usually on lifted bikes, probably to try and overcome the extra leverage from the longer arms while still using the factory shocks. If you just want to stiffen up your suspension a bit add some spring spacers. I actually used hockey pucks and it worked just fine for less than $5 and some of my time lol
